La contestazione delle ricette classiche, la sostituzione di alcuni componenti con altri, pił efficaci, la ricerca della panacea, il confronto con autori arabi, oltre che con i classici, sono alcune delle caratteristiche che animano le attivitą degli Speziali della Repubblica di Venezia nel 1500.
